Come and experience the restaging of one of this year's Preston Guild City Festival hidden gems: our audio trail, Ballad of the Burning Boy. It's a climate change thriller by Lavinia Murray, about a boy swept by by the fiery-red pre-Arkwrights, irresistible to teenagers who care about what's happening to their planet. 16-year old George has gone missing: his mother Miriam has 44 minutes to find him. All she knows is he's somewhere in Preston... Featuring Suranne Jones and Lemn Sissay, the story began as a BBC Radio 3 commission and premiered as an audio trail at the Preston Guild Festival on 8 September. Here it is again as a live, immersive audio event on Lancashire Day, Tuesday 27 November at 6pm. We meet at 5.30pm for a 6pm start. Tea, coffee and Lancashire fare on offer!
